For more than two decades, Kathleen Henson has enjoyed a diverse career in public relations and communications. She owns PR firm Henson Consulting and is a former agency Senior Vice President at Edelman. She was also named the 2014 PR Professional of the Year in Chicago by the Public Relations Society of America.

Whether you're just starting out or scaling your business, this program will help you understand funding options available to you as an entrepreneur or small business owner. Join us to learn about:

Funding sources and how to access these sources.
Requirements for obtaining funding.
Advantages and disadvantages of different funding sources.

Additionally, we will present the fundamentals of a business plan and financial projections. Business mentoring from SCORE members will be available after the event.
